LOUIS VUITTONx STEPHEN SPROUSE, KEEPALL 50 Sac de voyage monogramme GRAFFITI

Louis Vuitton X Stephen Sprouse

Louis Vuitton X Stephen Sprouse

Inventive, enigmatic and supremely creative, Stephen Sprouse has created works of art and clothing that reflect the mood of the 80s. One of the first American designers to mix graffiti and a punk aesthetic with fashion, Sprouse has manipulated conventional notions of style, and his unique sensibility has inspired designers from John Galliano to Raf Simmons to Marc Jacobs.

Sprouse's career began in the late 1970s when, after working for Halston, he moved to a warehouse in the Bowery and began designing for his neighbor, Debbie Harry. The fashion world quickly embraced his innovative and culturally relevant sensibility. Unfortunately, Sprouse's inability to compromise his artistic vision for the rigid fashion industry compromised his commercial success. Her career was finally interrupted by her tragic death in 2004 at the age of 50.
