H63 est un lieu situé dans un des quartiers les plus en vogue de Paris, le 10ème arrondissement, à quelques encablures du canal Saint Martin au coeur d’un hôtel particulier du XIXème siècle.

Cet hôtel particulier, qui a durant de nombreuses années, accueilli les créations de l’artiste Rodin, dont les premiers bronzes sont issues des ateliers situés dans l’arrière-cour, était un haut lieu de la création artistique, orchestré par la famille Leblanc-Barbedienne. Propriétaires des lieux et riches industriels dont les fonderies occupant l’arrière du bâtiment faisaient battre le coeur de cet arrondissement ; elles etaient approvisionnées en matières premières et notamment en charbon via le mythique canal Saint Martin.

L’architecture intérieure de ce duplex intégralement habillé de métal en hommage au passé industriel des lieux et conçu dans l’esprit fonctionnel des créations de Pierre Chareau avec une utilisation et une modularité de l’espace maximale. Il peut être à la fois showroom ou pied-à-terre le temps d’un week-end au coeur de la capitale. Il allie minimalisme orientale et travail des matières brutes réalisé par des artisans aux savoir-faire exceptionnels.

This mansion, which for many years hosted the creations of the artist Rodin, whose first bronzes came from the workshops located in the backyard, was a mecca for artistic creation, orchestrated by the Leblanc-Barbedienne family. The owners of the premises and wealthy industrialists whose foundries occupied the back of the building were the heartbeat of this district; they were supplied with raw materials and in particular coal via the mythical Canal Saint Martin.
